Annual General Meeting & Agent Q&A
April 5, 2020 @ 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
**Due to the ongoing concerns about spreading the coronavirus, the AGM and Agent Q&A have been cancelled. All registrations will be cancelled and refunded. Elections for the new board will take place online. Be sure to check the newsletter for voting times.
All members of the WCYR are highly encouraged to attend the AGM to participate in the election process for the new board. The AGM portion of the meeting is free for members. Simply Register for the “AGM only” ticket below.
Keeping the WCYR thriving can only be done through volunteer work, and member participation at events like the AGM where your vote is incredibly important. At this time we are still desperately looking for volunteers to take on board positions. If these positions are not filled, the WCYR risks collapsing. Please help support this amazing organization.

Join us for a question and answer session with literary agent, Amy Tompkins. Get answers to your burning questions about queries, best practices for contacting agents and the state of publishing in general.
Amy Tompkins has worked in publishing since 2002 and has been with the Transatlantic Agency since 2007. She represents both children’s and adult authors and is also the international rights agent for Islandport Press. Amy is a graduate of the Publishing Program at Ryerson University, and has an MA in English Language and Literature.
