Gearing Up For the York Region Writers Conference – With Zoe York

Meet Zoe York!

New York Times and USA Today bestseller Zoe York is the author of more than fifty romances. Zoe will present โ€œMarketing for Genre Fiction Authors: Crafting Books that Sell, and Selling Books Youโ€™ve Crafted With Loveโ€ at the York Writerโ€™s Conference this October. Weโ€™re looking forward to hearing Zoe walk us through a catalogue assessment  of books written to date and guide us towards a writing plan. Zoeโ€™s workshop will be most beneficial to genre writers (fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, romance, suspense etc.) and writers of childrenโ€™s fiction.

Zoe is married and a busy mom of two. In 2013, Zoe self-published What Once Was Perfect, her debut novel and first in the Wardham series. What Once Was Perfect is a Canadian small-town romance about a woman who has found success in her career but not in love. Throughout her career, Zoe has continued to learn lessons and try new things. Zoeโ€™s reputation grew when the SEALs of Summer and SEALs of Summer 2 boxed sets hit the New Your Times bestseller list. From small towns, to the military, to science-fiction, Zoe blends romance into unexpected venues, creating fun, engaging stories. Currently, Zoe has more than three million copies of her books in circulation.

The WCYR is excited to have Zoe York be part of our conference lineup and we look forward to her insights on marketing for genre fiction.

You can find Zoe at her website, www.zoeyork.comFacebookTwitter, and Instagram.
