| Short Description of Yourself | I was born and brought up in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. I graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton and also from Hamilton’s Teachers’ College. I taught elementary school for twenty-nine years. Now I have chosen to self-publish children’s books in order to continue to empower them through my books and my presentations. | Bio | My motto as a children’s book author is to create positive minded individuals who have the power to uplift not only themselves but also others. I am able to achieve this through my book signings and school presentations. I currently live in York Region with my interesting cat Mokie. I enjoy writing, reading, travelling (not during Covid), pickleball, walking, bike riding, kayaking and snowshoeing. Besides belonging to WCYR I am a member of CANSCAIP (The Canadian Society of Children’s Authors, Illustrators and Performers). |
