Short Description of Yourself | Audra Chadwick is a writer from Kingston, Jamaica who immigrated to Canada in 1964. Chadwick’s writing explores and uses her experience of immigration to describe and critique the oppression that racial minorities face internationally; specifically that of Black and Indigenous peoples. Through the lens of her childhood memories, Chadwick aims to recapture some bright magic in a sometimes dark world. |
