The WCYR Now Offers Writing Grants!

It’s Official! 

We are proud to announce that current members of the WCYR are now able to apply for a writing grant.

All stages and levels of writers, from just starting out all the way to published authors, are welcome to apply for remuneration of funds spent (or to be spent) on writing-related items up to $200.00 in 2018.

We have two options available:

Education Grant

This grant is intended to help pay for or supplement educational endeavours such as: writing workshops, writing courses/certificate programs, conferences, professional retreats, books on writer’s craft, writing memberships, applicable software, etc.

Publication Grant

This grant is intended to help pay for/supplement all pre/during/post publishing practices such as: professional editing, interior formatting, cover design, self-publication coaching, resources on marketing, book event vendor expenses, website building, social media/public relations assistance, applicable software, etc.

We will be accepting Grant Proposals between

January 1st — April 1st.
