Consider volunteering as the Hospitality Coordinator Assistant. This position is open to any member of the WCYR. What do you need to do for this role? It’s all about balance. When discussing plans with the Coordinator it will be up to the two of you to decide who will purchase the snacks, organize the coffee, tea, condiments and accouterments for each monthly seminar, or even alternate months when one person can attend if the other cannot. You would also help set-up and take-down the refreshment area before and after the meeting.
This is a great opportunity for you to gain some amazing experience working with a professional organization. You can utilize your skills to help the WCYR and its members in a positive and fulfilling way. Volunteering as a Hospitality Assistant will allow you to have a valuable new item for your résumé under “Volunteer Experience”.

The Hospitality Coordinator Assistant is a General Team position. While this is a non-Board position, we would extend a free meeting now and then as a “thank you” for the time commitment of this position.
