Sunday, Mar 10, 2019
1:00pm – 4:00pm
What is story? Is a narrative simply a series of events happening to random people? No! Who is this story about is just as important as What is this story about! Characters are actually the most important components of any story.
This two-hour workshop explores how to create a compelling and complex character through readings, exercises and thoughtful guided discussion with an experienced writing instructor and novelist. Learn the basics of character driven narrative by designing your own character in this two-hour workshop. Handouts and readings included.
Workshop will be held on Sunday, March 10th, 2019, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Lion’s Hall Community Centre in Newmarket.
