Announcing A Glory All Her Own by Rebecca Simkin

About the book:

For peace. For love. For glory.

Lirienne is a healer with a heart as mighty as her magical abilities. For as long as she can remember, her people, the Hilliri, have clashed with the neighboring Trillas, but recent conflicts raise the stakes to all-out war. When she witnesses her people brutalizing Lorenzo, an infamous but noble Trillas captive, compassion overcomes her and Lirienne turns against her royal house.

As Lirienne and Lorenzo strive to bring peace to their battling nations, survival becomes a perilous dance between duty and desire. Forced to question her loyalties to country, family, and her new love, she realizes their only hope lies in restoring harmony between opposing factions.

How can Lirienne transform herself from a compliant healer to a defiant peacemaker in time to save everyone she loves? Will these star-crossed lovers triumph against hatred and prejudice or will their enemies destroy them along with the fragile peace they hope to achieve?
