About Roderick:
Roderick D. Turner has an educational background in Engineering and Science. He worked in a variety of Engineering roles within the industry for over 10 years, followed by a 27-year career as an Engineering Technology professor at Seneca College. He began writing short stories while working on his PhD Thesis in 1990, and has been writing ever since. He has now written more than 150 short stories, as well as 12 novels and 4 audio plays, overall classifiable as speculative fiction but ranging from sci-fi to general fiction, fantasy to space opera.
Empowered draws us forward into the ultimate conflict, a battle to save the multiverse. Salvation cannot be achieved without sacrifice. A select few can endure the pain and suffering required to reach new heights, to not only see a way forward but to carry us with them as they ascend. And such a journey is never accomplished alone. It is a voyage requiring cooperation, reliance, passion and love. A road of anguish, sorrow, and regret that is walked in hope, towards an uncertain end. But which may be our only route to a bright future.
