The WCYR and WCDR are participating in Fan Expo Canada 2026 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. This enormous multi-day fandom conference spans both North and South buildings for an event that sees over 100K attendees over the course of 4 days (Aug 27-30).
Each day will feature WCYR authors in a variety of genres, including sci-fi, fantasy, graphic novels, thriller/suspense, horror, mystery, romantic suspense, and children’s adventure stories. We’ll also be participating in a panel on the topic of villains and presenting a Kids’ Zone workshop on building better characters for DnD. There will be free interactive fandom experiences, a collection of fandom quotes. writerly discussions, and two giveaways per day. Writers Community members from both groups will also be selling their books.
